I am a fast-track NCTJ Gold Standard Qualified Journalist from the UK's No.1 Journalism School: News Associates, London. Whilst completing my qualification, I was a news and sports reporter for The Londoners in which I covered events such as the 2024 General Election and the Wimbledon Qualifying Tournament.

Previously, I graduated from the University of Exeter in 2022 with a 2:1 BA Hons Degree in Politics. During my studies, I was Head of Station Sound, creating idents and show openers for the station. I also hosted my own travel programme called Round the World with William in which I would interview fellow students about places that they had visited.

A youth-led campaign to get more young people registered to vote has proven to be successful with more than one and a half million registering since the election was called.

Ed Davey celebrates "best result in a generation" following increased majority in Kingston and Surbiton 

Liberal Democrat Leader Sir Ed Davey said people had been let down and wanted change after increasing his majority in Kingston and Surbiton.


Davey won with 25,870 votes to Conservative Helen Edward who received 8,635 votes which secured a Liberal Democrat majority of 17,235 up from their previous majority in 2019 by almost 7,000 votes.

Absolute Poverty is currently defined by the Department for Work and Pensions as an individual whose income is 40% of the living standard, an average income can afford adjusting for inflation. The first ever London International 7s event took place at Wimbledon’s Plough Lane last month. 


Eight men’s and four women’s teams took part in the all-day event on the 25th of May, representing Fiji, New Zealand, Netherlands and Jamaica.

MP suspensions hit record high in current Parliament

The number of MPs suspended from the House of Commons has reached a post-war high during the current Parliament. 


A total of 16 MPs have been suspended since Boris Johnson won the last general election in December 2019, the same number as the previous five Parliaments combined.

Homelessness charities have expressed concerns that the Government’s flagship Criminal Justice Bill could criminalise rough sleepers.


The Criminal Justice Bill will aim to give police more powers over tackling nuisance beggars and rough sleepers.


Critics of the bill, which includes a reported 40 Conservative MPs, however, say that the bill is not clear which could lead to rough sleepers being arrested just for having an excessive smell or intending to look homeless.
